The atmosphere is casual and crowded, with pool tables, fire shows, and bucket drinks served from plastic pails.
What to expect
- Entry is free at most venues, but drinks cost 80-150 baht for a bucket of local rum or vodka mixed with soda
- Live fire performances and limbo contests run on the central stage between 22:00 and 23:30 nightly
- The dance floor is a sand pit, so wear closed-toe shoes to avoid grit and glass
- DJ sets rotate hourly, with reggae and drum-and-bass dominating before midnight and EDM after 01:00
- Seating is limited to low wooden benches and hammocks at the edges, so expect to stand or sit on the sand
- The crowd is predominantly travellers aged 20-35, with a mix of Thai locals on weekends
