About this experience

Hotels & Resorts in Poros Town are the primary lodging options on the island's main harbour front, offering direct access to the promenade and ferry terminal. These establishments range from family-run boutique hotels to larger seaside resorts, with most rooms facing the Saronic Gulf and the Peloponnese coast. The town's compact layout places every hotel within a five-minute walk of tavernas, cafés, and the clock tower.

What to expect

Check-in times typically start at 14:00, with checkout by 11:00, and most properties include a buffet breakfast with local honey and Greek yoghurt.
Standard rooms include air conditioning, a private balcony, and a flat-screen TV; superior categories add sea-view terraces and mini-fridges.
Guests can walk to the Poros Archaeological Museum (400 metres) or take a 10-minute water taxi to the Askeli beach strip for swimming.
Resorts with pools offer sun loungers and towel service, while smaller hotels provide rooftop seating areas overlooking the harbour.
The accommodation suits couples and older travellers seeking quiet nights, as the town's nightlife ends by midnight, and most buildings lack lifts.
Parking is not included; public lots sit 200-300 metres from the waterfront, and the port's car ferry arrives every 30 minutes from Galatas.
