About
Otak Otak Pempek Muara Musi Pluit serves Java, at Jl. Pluit Karang Utara No.139 Blk A3, RT.20/RW.2, Pluit, Kecamatan Penjaringan, Jkt Utara, Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta 14450, Indonesia.
A 4.5 out of 5 average across 106 reviews places it among the better-reviewed addresses in the Pluit area. Its Facebook page at https://m.facebook.com/otakotakmuaramusi/ carries its details. Jakarta's position on the island's western end makes the venue reachable from Bandung, Bogor and the other towns strung across Java.
Pluit sits in the north of Jakarta, close to the coastal edge of the capital, so the venue is within the city's built-up spread rather than out in the interior. The 4.5 out of 5 figure from 106 reviews suggests a following built over repeat visits.
Bahasa Indonesia is the national language, and hundreds of regional languages such as Javanese and Sundanese are also spoken, so English is not always the default in shops and markets. Indonesian islands sit on the Pacific Ring of Fire, where tectonic plates meet and volcanoes are common, which shapes the landscape travellers cross between towns.
