What to expect
- Lessons run for 90 minutes, including a 20-minute dry-land tutorial on paddle technique and pop-up positioning.
- All equipment is supplied: a soft-top surfboard, leash, and reef-safe zinc sunscreen are included in the session fee.
- You will practise catching white-water waves in waist-deep water before progressing to unbroken green waves if conditions allow.
- The instructor films a short video of your final ride, which you receive via email within 24 hours.
- Suitable for ages 8 and up; non-swimmers can join with a flotation vest and a dedicated assistant in the water.
- Sessions are scheduled at low tide, when the reef is most exposed and the wave zone is clearly marked by buoys.
