Riders mount gentle, trained horses and follow a route through tropical foliage to the shoreline, where the horses wade into the Caribbean Sea. What to expect
- Ride for 60 minutes on a guided trail through coconut groves and coastal bushland before reaching the beach.
- Horses are matched to your skill level, and a helmet and basic riding instruction are provided before departure.
- The ride includes a supervised water entry where horses walk into the sea up to chest depth, allowing you to splash in the waves.
- Each group is limited to 10 riders, with two guides accompanying the ride for safety and photo stops at scenic viewpoints.
- Suitable for riders aged 8 and over; weight limit is 220 pounds (100 kg) per rider.
- Hotel pickup and drop-off from Ocho Rios resorts is included in the tour price, with lockers available for personal items.
