About this experience

Coffee Shops in Treasure Beach is a laid-back cafe circuit along Jamaica's south coast, where local roasters serve Blue Mountain and high-mountain brews. These family-run spots pair espresso with ocean views and rustic wooden seating. Visitors find a slower pace than Kingston or Montego Bay, with beans sourced from nearby parish farms.

What to expect

Each shop offers a single-origin Blue Mountain or High Mountain pour-over, priced between 300 and 600 Jamaican dollars per cup
Most cafes operate from 7am to 2pm daily, with seating for 10 to 20 guests on open-air verandas facing the Caribbean Sea
Menus include Jamaican breakfast staples like ackee and saltfish, fried dumplings, and coconut bread alongside the coffee
Several shops roast beans on-site in small batches, and visitors can watch the drum roaster work during morning hours
Wi-Fi is available at two of the five main cafes, but power outlets are scarce, so bring a charged device
The circuit suits slow travellers and remote workers who want a quiet morning stop between beach swims and village walks
