About this experience

Coffee Shops in Falmouth is a self-guided tour of the town's working coffee bars and roasteries, located along the historic streets of Falmouth, Jamaica. The activity takes visitors through three to four established venues where local Blue Mountain and High Mountain beans are brewed and sold. Each stop offers a short tasting session and a look at the brewing equipment used in daily service.

What to expect

Tour duration is approximately 90 minutes, covering four coffee venues within a 500-metre walk from the Falmouth Pier.
Each venue provides a 60-millilitre sample cup of its house brew, with one venue offering a cold brew variant.
Visitors watch baristas grind beans and operate a manual espresso machine at the oldest shop, established in 1987.
The route includes a roastery where beans are roasted in a 5-kilogram drum roaster, with a small bag of roasted beans (100 grams) given to each participant.
Suitable for adults and children over 10 years old; the walk is flat and wheelchair accessible on paved sidewalks.
Tastings are unsweetened, but each shop has sugar, milk, and coconut milk available for self-service.
