The club centres on lawn tennis, providing courts for players in the island's main town of Douglas. Its focus is the sport of tennis itself, with the facilities arranged for play rather than for other fitness disciplines.

Nearby Ramsey and Peel sit within the island, giving travelling players options for extending a trip.
The club's website is https://clubspark.lta.org.uk/AlbanyLTC, where its tennis activity is set out. Five photos accompany the listing, showing the venue's courts and setting. Opening hours are not part of this listing, so the website remains the reference point for arranging play.
Visitors to the Isle of Man find a mild maritime climate, with June to August the warmest and busiest season for outdoor sport. British island cooking leans on fresh seafood, dairy and local produce, which suits a day built around tennis.
