Ischia's Mediterranean climate brings hot, dry summers and mild, wetter winters, and winters are mild enough for walking, though many coastal restaurants close in the quiet months. Ferries and hydrofoils link the island to mainland and Sicilian ports, which makes arriving without a car straightforward. Loggerhead turtles nest on some island beaches, and Eleonora's falcon breeds on the cliffs, giving walks along the coast a wildlife dimension.
Guests booking treatments at Wellness Hotel Flora can plan around the island's ferry and hydrofoil connections, which run to mainland and Sicilian ports. The spa and wellness offer suits visitors who want treatments close to Ischia Porto and the other nearby centres. A 4 out of 5 rating from 419 reviews gives a clear sense of how the venue is received.
