Italy's islands follow a Mediterranean pattern, with hot, dry summers and mild, wetter winters, and the busiest months fall between June and September. Cooking on the Italian islands leans on seafood, handmade pasta, olive oil and local wines. Ferries, hydrofoils and flights link the islands to the mainland, and Italian is the main language spoken. Ischia Porto and Ischia Ponte lie within easy reach of the hotel, giving guests more than one direction for days out.
