About this experience

Language Schools in Forio is a group of Italian language institutions located in the coastal town of Forio on the island of Ischia. These schools offer structured courses for adults and teenagers, combining classroom tuition with cultural activities. Each school operates independently, with class sizes typically ranging from 4 to 10 students per group.

What to expect

Courses run from one to twelve weeks, with 20 to 30 lessons per week, each lesson lasting 45 to 60 minutes.
All schools provide a placement test on the first morning to assign you to the correct level group.
Tuition includes printed textbooks, a certificate of attendance at course completion, and free Wi-Fi in common areas.
Daily or weekly activities, such as guided walks to the Aragonese Castle or cooking classes for pasta, are offered at an extra fee.
Accommodation options include host families with half-board meals, shared apartments, or single rooms in residences within a 15-minute walk of the school.
The schools suit adult learners aged 16 and over, with separate junior programmes available in July and August for ages 12 to 17.
