The Balearic Islands follow a Mediterranean pattern, with hot, dry summers and mild winters, and the busiest stretch runs from June through September. Balearic cooking leans on fresh seafood, sobrasada sausage and ensaimada pastries, alongside wines produced in the islands' vineyards. Flights from across Europe and ferry routes from mainland Spain make reaching Ibiza straightforward, and both Spanish and Catalan are spoken locally. For a visitor booking a dance session, that combination of easy access and a long summer season shapes when and how to plan a trip to the studio.
