Restaurants & Dining in San Juan is a curated culinary route through the village of Sant Joan de Labritja in northern Ibiza. It covers traditional Ibizan taverns, farm-to-table eateries, and modern bistros within the village's historic square and side streets. The activity suits food-focused travellers seeking local produce, wood-fired dishes, and a relaxed village atmosphere away from coastal crowds.
What to expect
- A 2- to 3-hour self-guided or guided walking tour of 4 to 6 selected venues, with optional seated tastings at each stop
- Sample Ibizan specialties such as bullit de peix (fish stew), sobrasada, and flaó (cheese and mint tart) at family-run establishments
- Visit the Sunday morning market in the village plaza, where local farmers and artisans sell seasonal fruit, olive oil, and handmade cheeses
- Watch a live paella preparation over an open fire at a traditional wood-burning kitchen, with a portion included in the tour price
- Includes one drink (local wine or hierbas Ibicencas liqueur) at each venue, with vegetarian and gluten-free alternatives available on request
- Suits couples and small groups who prefer unhurried dining and want to learn the history of each restaurant from a local guide
