About
R&L Taxi & Tours LLC., on Hawaii (Big Island), operates from Waimea, with its base at 61-3295 Maluokalani St Bay 3. First-time visitors can arrange rides and tours through the booking page at randltaxi.com, which handles reservations in advance.
That booking link carries a Kamuela campaign tag, pointing to the Waimea area the service works from. A 4.9 out of 5 average across 791 reviews makes R&L Taxi & Tours LLC. one of the most reviewed transport options on the island. The volume of feedback reflects steady use by residents and visitors moving around the Big Island.
From Waimea, the service reaches Kailua-Kona, Hilo, Volcano and the Kohala Coast, along with Puna, Captain Cook and Kona. Travellers staying in those towns can arrange pickups rather than relying on their own transport. Waimea sits inland on the northern part of the island, within reach of the Kohala Coast.
Because no road or regular ferry links the Hawaiian islands, inter-island travel is by air, which makes ground transport on the Big Island a practical concern for anyone arriving by plane. The island's wetter months run from November to March, so journeys in the drier stretch from April to October tend to meet clearer conditions.
