Matia Jones Massage
About
Matia Jones Massage serves Hawaii (Big Island) as a spa, wellness centre or massage studio. The practice is based on Lemiwai Rd in Keaau, HI 96749, United States, on the Puna side of the island, with Hilo, Volcano, Waimea and the Kohala Coast among the areas within reach.
Massage is the treatment on offer here, delivered as hands-on bodywork in a one-to-one setting. Appointments are booked in advance through the venue's scheduling page at https://matia-jones.massagetherapy.com/, which is the route to securing a time. First-time visitors can expect a focused session rather than a large facility, so arriving with a clear idea of the areas needing work helps.
Clients have given the practice a 5 out of 5 score across 12 reviews, a record built on a modest but consistent set of responses.
Keaau sits on the windward coast, where trade winds from the northeast bring most of the island's rain, so the wetter stretch from November to March is worth planning around. Hawaiian Creole English, known locally as Pidgin, is spoken widely across the islands, alongside standard English. Local food runs to plate lunches, poke made from raw fish and kalua pork cooked in an imu earth oven.
