Kaleo's Auto Service
About
On Hawaii (Big Island), Kaleo's Auto Service operates from 16-167 Kalara St, Keaau, HI 96749, on the eastern side of the island. The venue is known for the car repair work it carries out for drivers in the surrounding district, and its details are set out at https://www.carssllc.com/.
First-time visitors should expect a working garage rather than a dealership, with vehicles booked in for servicing and repair. Visitors give it a 4.9 out of 5 average across 81 reviews, a consistently high record for a workshop of this size. Reaching the venue from the main resorts and towns is straightforward, since Keaau sits inland of Hilo on Hawaii (Big Island) and the nearby centres of Hilo, Volcano and Puna are linked by the island's roads.
Its position in Keaau places it in the wetter windward part of the island, within easy reach of Hilo and the Puna district. Hawaii has a warm tropical climate, and daytime temperatures change little between summer and winter, so the workshop operates in steady conditions year round.
English and Hawaiian are both official languages of Hawaii, and Hawaiian words appear widely in place names, which is worth knowing when giving directions to the garage. Spam, rice and macaroni salad appear widely in Hawaiian home cooking and lunch plates, a useful thing to look for while a vehicle is in for work.
