What to expect

• Duration is typically 2 to 3 hours, including a 45-minute guided snorkel or dive session at one of two sites: Kapoho Tide Pools or Wai Opae Tide Pools.
• All snorkel or dive gear, including mask, fins, snorkel, and buoyancy control device, is provided; wetsuits are available for cooler mornings.
• Participants see black lava rock formations, coral heads, and endemic species such as the yellow tang and Hawaiian sergeant major, with occasional sightings of spinner dolphins.
• Suitable for beginners and certified divers alike; snorkelers stay in shallow protected pools, while divers can explore deeper drop-offs to 15 metres.
• A certified guide accompanies each group, offering safety briefings and pointing out underwater features like lava tubes and submerged arches.
• The tour includes a fresh fruit snack and bottled water after the session, with a rinse station for gear at the departure point.
