Coffee Shops in Captain Cook is a self-guided tour of the Kona coffee belt’s historic farms and roasteries, located along the Mamalahoa Highway on the Big Island’s western slope. Visitors can sample estate-grown beans, watch roasting demonstrations, and learn about the region’s 200-year coffee heritage. The activity suits travellers who want a casual, caffeinated stop between sightseeing drives.
What to expect
- Spend 1 to 2 hours visiting 3 to 5 family-run farms within a 5-mile stretch of Highway 11
