The Cocktail Masterclass in Kona is a hands-on mixology workshop held at a waterfront bar on Hawaii's Big Island. Participants learn to craft three classic cocktails using local Hawaiian spirits and fresh island fruit. The class is led by a professional bartender and includes all ingredients, equipment, and tasting portions.
What to expect
- 90-minute session with a maximum of 12 participants per class
- Includes three full-sized cocktails made with Kona coffee rum, macadamia nut liqueur, and locally sourced citrus
- Each participant receives a shaker, jigger, and muddler to use during the class and take home afterwards
- Guided instruction on proper shaking, straining, and garnishing techniques, with a written recipe card for each drink
- Suitable for beginners and experienced home bartenders, with non-alcoholic versions available on request
