Yoga & Wellness in Playa de Sotavento is a guided yoga and mindfulness session held on the white-sand beach of Playa de Sotavento, Fuerteventura. The class takes place at the water's edge, with the Atlantic breeze and sound of waves as the backdrop. Sessions are led by certified instructors and are open to all fitness levels, using the natural environment to ground and reset the body.
What to expect
- 90-minute group session at 10:00 AM, with mats and props provided
- Includes a 15-minute guided breathing exercise (pranayama) before the asana flow
- Participants practise on the sand facing the ocean, with the tide line visible from the mat
- Suitable for beginners and experienced yogis, with modifications offered for each pose
- Ends with a 10-minute savasana and a short mindfulness meditation on the beach
- Small group size capped at 12 people to ensure individual attention from the instructor
