Jetski Rental in Playa de Sotavento offers self-drive personal watercraft hire on the sheltered lagoon of Fuerteventura's Sotavento beach. The rental includes a safety briefing, life jacket, and a guided or solo session depending on your licence. Riders navigate flat, turquoise water with consistent wind, making it suitable for both first-timers and experienced riders.
What to expect
- Sessions run for 30 or 60 minutes, with fuel and life jacket included in the rental price
- You ride a Yamaha VX or Sea-Doo GTI model, reaching speeds up to 55 km/h on the calm lagoon
- The route follows the Sotavento sandbar, passing shallow turquoise pools and the nearby Cofete mountain backdrop
- No boat licence is required for the 30-minute session; the 60-minute session requires a valid PWC licence or a paid instructor passenger
- Suitable for riders aged 16 and over, with a weight limit of 150 kg per jet ski
- A waterproof phone pouch and a dry bag for personal items are provided free of charge
