About this experience

Dance Studios in Ajuy is a dance instruction venue located in the coastal village of Ajuy on Fuerteventura's western shore. The studio offers structured classes in a range of styles, from salsa to contemporary, within a dedicated practice space near the island's historic fishing port. Sessions cater to both beginners and experienced dancers, with small group sizes for individual attention.

What to expect

Classes run for 60 to 90 minutes, with a 10-minute warm-up and cool-down included in each session.
The studio provides sprung wooden floors, full-length mirrors, and a sound system with adjustable volume for music-based routines.
Visitors can join drop-in classes without prior booking, subject to a maximum of 12 participants per session.
Beginner sessions focus on basic footwork and rhythm, while advanced classes include choreographed sequences and partner work.
The studio is a 5-minute walk from Ajuy's black-sand beach and the Cuevas de Ajuy caves, making it easy to combine with sightseeing.
Suitable for adults and teenagers aged 14 and over; no dance partner is required for solo-style classes.
