About this experience

Coffee Shops in Corsica is a guided tour of the island's notable cafés, located across Corsica's main towns and villages. The activity takes visitors to traditional and modern espresso bars, where local roasts and pastries are served. Each stop highlights the role of coffee in Corsican daily life and hospitality.

What to expect

Tour duration is 3 hours, covering four to five cafés in one town such as Ajaccio, Bastia, or Corte.
Each visit includes a small cup of Corsican espresso or filter coffee, plus a local sweet like canistrelli or fiadone.
Participants observe baristas preparing coffee using regional beans, often roasted in Ajaccio or Sartène.
The route includes at least one historic café with 19th-century interiors, such as Café des Philosophes in Bastia.
Suitable for small groups of up to eight people, with walking distances under 2 kilometres between stops.
Guides provide a printed map of the cafés visited, with opening hours and price lists for return visits.
