Diving & Snorkeling in Guiob is a guided aquatic activity off the coast of Guiob village on Camiguin Island. The site features coral gardens, volcanic rock formations, and clear water with visibility often exceeding 15 metres. Guided sessions include all necessary equipment and a boat ride to the reef.
What to expect
- Sessions last 2 to 3 hours, including a 15-minute boat transfer from Guiob beach to the house reef.
- Full snorkel or scuba gear, weights, and a dive computer are provided for all participants.
- You will swim through a shallow coral garden at 3-5 metres, home to clownfish, parrotfish, and occasional sea turtles.
- For certified divers, a deeper drop-off at 12-18 metres reveals black coral and whip corals on volcanic boulders.
- Suitable for beginners and families; a certified guide accompanies every group, and a maximum of 6 divers per guide is enforced.
- Surface intervals include fresh water and light snacks served on the boat, with a view of Mount Hibok-Hibok.
