Campsites in Mahinog is a designated camping ground on the northern coast of Mahinog, Camiguin Island. It offers tent pitches directly on a grassy shore facing the Bohol Sea, with basic facilities including shared toilets and a cold-water shower. The site is managed by the local barangay and is open to independent travellers and small groups.
What to expect
- Tent pitches are set on flat grass about 20 metres from the waterline, with views of the Camiguin coastline and nearby islets.
- Each pitch includes a 3x3 metre area for one tent, with no pre-booked slots; arrival is first-come, first-served.
- On-site facilities are limited to two squat toilets, one cold-water shower, and a single tap for washing dishes and clothes.
- A small sari-sari store within 100 metres sells drinking water, instant noodles, and basic cooking fuel, but no fresh food.
- The site suits self-sufficient campers with their own tent, stove, and food; there are no rental tents or cooking equipment.
- Quiet hours are enforced from 10 pm to 6 am, and campfires are allowed only in the provided metal fire rings on the beach.
