Ocean State Drone Company
About
On Block Island, Ocean State Drone Company is a drone photography service. The business works around the island's coastline, with New Harbor and Old Harbor among the nearby places that frame its patch of the island.
Aerial photography and video are the core of what the company provides, capturing the island from above for clients who want views that ground-level cameras cannot reach. Clients do not need to own or bring a drone, because the company supplies the aircraft and the pilot for each job. Seventeen reviews average out at a full 5 out of 5, a record that points to consistently satisfied customers. The service is listed under drone photography, and the website at https://www.oceanstatedroneco.com/ carries the company's work.
Booking runs through the company's own site rather than a walk-in counter, and the service operates on the island itself. Work is arranged around the island's weather and light, so schedules are set in advance.
Block Island sits within the United States, and English is the main language across the island group, which keeps arrangements straightforward for travellers from abroad. Seafood dominates island menus, from Maine lobster to Florida stone crab and ahi in Hawaii, so a meal after a shoot is easy to find. Mohegan Bluffs and Ballards Beach are among the nearby places a photographer might work around.
