What to expect
- Session lasts 90 minutes, including a 15-minute pre-flight briefing on French drone regulations and no-fly zones around the citadel
- You receive a printed map of three approved take-off spots: the harbour jetty, the citadel esplanade, and the beach at Plage des Grands Sables
- The guide provides real-time wind and tide data, and adjusts the route to avoid ferry traffic and seagull nesting areas
- You capture raw 4K footage of the 17th-century Vauban fortifications, the ferry terminal, and the turquoise water of the inner bay
- Suitable for pilots with a valid drone licence (A1/A3) and a drone under 900 grams; no equipment rental is available
- At the end, you review your footage on a tablet and receive a checklist for editing colour grading specific to coastal light
