Mie Goreng Makassar
About
When in Bali, Mie Goreng Makassar is the local business found at Jl. Teuku Umar No.65, Dauh Puri Klod, Kec. Denpasar Bar., Kota Denpasar, Bali 80113, Indonesia. It sits in Denpasar, the island's administrative capital, rather than in the beach resort strip to the south. The business operates as a local food business rather than a hotel, spa or retail outlet.
Visitors have given Mie Goreng Makassar a 4.5 out of 5 average across 990 reviews, a substantial record of satisfaction for a local business. That review count places it among the more reviewed local businesses in Denpasar, and the 4.5 average reflects steady approval from a large number of diners. The venue's location on Jl. Teuku Umar puts it within reach of Seminyak, Canggu, Ubud, Kuta, Sanur, Nusa Dua, Jimbaran and Legian, so travellers based in the main resort areas can reach it by road from the southern tourist belt. Denpasar's position as the island's main urban centre means the surrounding road network connects it to the wider region.
Opening hours run Mo-Su 08:00-21:30, giving a long daily window from morning through evening. Five photos document the venue's appearance and offerings. The address places it in the Dauh Puri Klod neighbourhood.
Bali's tropical climate divides into two monsoons, with the drier stretch generally running May to September and the wetter months from October to April. Indonesian cooking is bold and spice-driven, built around rice, satay, grilled fish and fresh tropical fruit, and the local food business fits that pattern. Domestic flights and fast boats link Indonesia's islands, with international airports on the main islands, so reaching Bali is straightforward. Indonesian serves as the everyday language, and English is widely understood in tourist areas, which eases ordering and getting around.
