Surf Lessons in Sanur is a beginner-focused surf school located on the gentle waves of Sanur Beach, Bali. The lessons combine land-based safety briefings with in-water coaching from certified instructors. Each session is structured to build confidence and basic paddling, popping-up, and wave-riding skills.
What to expect
- Two-hour lesson includes a soft-top surfboard, rash vest, and reef-safe sunscreen.
- Class size is limited to four students per instructor for individual attention.
- The lesson begins with a 20-minute beach demonstration on wave reading and board control.
- You will practice popping up on the sand before entering the waist-deep water.
- Instructors film your session with a GoPro and provide a free video review after the lesson.
- Suitable for first-timers and casual swimmers; minimum age is 8 years old.
