Surf Lessons in Kuta is a beginner-focused surf school located on Kuta Beach, Bali. It provides structured coaching from certified instructors on the island's most accessible waves. The lessons combine safety briefings, land-based technique drills, and guided ocean practice.
What to expect
- Two-hour lesson format includes a 20-minute beach theory session and 100 minutes of in-water coaching.
- All equipment is supplied: soft-top surfboard, leg rope, and rash vest sized for each participant.
- Instructors are certified by the International Surfing Association and maintain a 1:4 student-to-teacher ratio.
- Participants learn to paddle, pop-up, and ride white-water waves on a gentle, sandy-bottom break.
- Suitable for first-timers aged 8 and above, including non-swimmers who use a flotation vest.
- Lessons end with a video review of your session, highlighting three techniques to improve.
