About this experience

Amed Spa & Massage is a beachfront wellness centre in Amed, Bali, offering traditional Balinese treatments. It provides a range of massage therapies, body scrubs, and facials using local ingredients such as coconut and frangipani. The open-air pavilions overlook the Lombok Strait, and treatments are performed by certified local therapists.

What to expect

Choose from a 60, 90, or 120-minute Balinese massage, priced from IDR 150,000, with oil blended from coconut and lemongrass.
Each session includes a welcome drink of cold ginger tea and a post-treatment pot of herbal tea served on a seaside deck.
The signature Amed Scrub uses finely ground coffee and sea salt, applied for 30 minutes before a warm rinse in an outdoor shower.
Treatments take place in a thatched-roof bungalow with a view of Mount Agung, and the sound of waves is audible throughout.
The facility suits travellers with sunburn or muscle fatigue from diving, as therapists specialise in post-dive recovery massage.
All bookings include use of a private changing room with a sarong, locker, and a towel, with no extra charges for oil or lotion.
