Restaurants & Dining in Jimbaran

About this experience

What to expect

• Most seafood restaurants are open-air and set on the beach, with tables placed on the sand and a view of the fishing boats at anchor.
• A typical meal includes a choice of freshly caught fish, prawns, or squid, grilled over coconut husks and served with sambal, steamed rice, and a side of vegetables.
• Dinner service starts around 17:00 and peaks at sunset, so arriving by 18:00 secures a front-row table for the 18:30 sunset.
• The area is split into two main strips: the northern beach near the Four Seasons and the southern bay near the fish market, each with a different atmosphere and price range.
• Most restaurants offer a set menu for two, priced per kilogram of seafood, with a typical cost of 300,000 to 500,000 IDR per person including drinks.
• This dining style suits couples and families who want a relaxed, casual evening with the sound of waves and the smell of charcoal grills.
