About this experience

Private Chef in Tabanan is a personalised dining service operating in the rice-field and coastal region of Tabanan, Bali. A professional chef arrives at your villa or accommodation to cook a bespoke multi-course meal using local market ingredients. The service includes menu planning, grocery shopping, cooking, and kitchen cleanup, leaving you free to relax with your guests.

What to expect

A private chef prepares and serves a 3- to 5-course dinner at your villa, typically lasting 3 to 4 hours from setup to cleanup.
The menu is customised to your dietary preferences, with options for Balinese, Indonesian, Western, or fusion dishes using fresh seafood and produce from Tabanan markets.
The chef brings all cooking equipment, utensils, and serving ware, so you do not need to provide anything except a kitchen or outdoor cooking area.
You can watch the chef work in your open kitchen or outdoor bale, and ask questions about Balinese ingredients and cooking techniques.
The service includes a full grocery shopping run on the morning of your booking, with ingredient costs itemised and billed separately from the chef's fee.
This activity suits groups of 4 to 12 people, including families, couples, or friends celebrating a special occasion at a private villa in Tabanan.
