Hiking Tours in Ubud is a guided walking activity through the rice terraces, jungles, and villages surrounding Ubud, Bali. These tours operate on scheduled morning or sunset departures, covering 6 to 10 kilometres of trail. Routes include the Campuhan Ridge, Tegallalang terraces, and local temple grounds, with a certified guide leading groups of up to eight people.
What to expect
- Tours run for 3 to 4 hours, including a 15-minute rest stop at a traditional Balinese coffee plantation.
- Each booking includes a local guide, bottled water, and entry fees to the Tegallalang Rice Terrace.
- You will walk on paved paths, dirt tracks, and narrow ridge trails, with elevation gains of 150 to 250 metres.
- The itinerary passes two active water temples and a working farm where you can observe rice planting or harvesting.
- Suitable for adults with moderate fitness; children under 12 are not recommended due to steep sections.
- Morning departures start at 8:00 AM and finish by 11:30 AM, while sunset tours begin at 3:30 PM and end at 7:00 PM.
