Drone Photography in Uluwatu is a guided aerial photography session along the cliff-lined coastline of Bali's Bukit Peninsula. Participants launch drones from designated spots near Uluwatu Temple and Suluban Beach to capture the Indian Ocean's waves and limestone formations. The session includes pre-flight safety checks and real-time composition coaching from a licensed local pilot.
What to expect
- 90-minute session with a licensed drone pilot, including pre-flight safety briefing and FAA-equivalent permit verification
- Access to two launch points: Uluwatu Temple's western cliff and Suluban Beach's cave overlook, each with a 20-minute flight window
- Included: one DJI Mavic 3 Pro drone with spare batteries, ND filters, and a 128GB SD card for your footage
- You receive a 4K video file (up to 5 minutes) and 10 edited stills within 48 hours via WeTransfer
- Suitable for pilots with at least 5 hours of prior flight time; beginners receive a 10-minute simulator tutorial before takeoff
- Sessions run at 7:00 AM or 4:30 PM to avoid wind gusts and crowds, with a maximum of 2 participants per slot
