Campsites in Singaraja are outdoor accommodation grounds located along the northern coast of Bali, near the town of Singaraja. These sites sit between black-sand beaches and lowland hills, offering direct access to the Bali Sea and nearby waterfalls. The area receives less rainfall than southern Bali, making it a dry-season option for tent camping.
What to expect
- Camp pitches are set on grass or compacted sand, with basic facilities including shared toilets, cold-water showers, and a small kiosk for drinking water and snacks.
- Most sites operate on a per-tent basis, with rates covering one night and one vehicle parking space; check-in is from 2 PM and check-out by 11 AM.
- Visitors can walk to the nearby Lovina Beach dolphin-watching boats, which depart at 6 AM daily from the shore adjacent to the campsites.
- Each pitch includes a fire pit and a picnic table; firewood is sold on-site for 30,000 IDR per bundle.
- The campsites suit self-sufficient travellers with their own tent, sleeping bag, and cooking stove, as no rental equipment is provided.
- Night-time conditions are quiet and open, with views of the Bali Sea and occasional passing fishing boats, but no artificial lighting after 10 PM.
