Camel Riding in Singaraja is a guided camel trek along the northern Bali coastline, offered at the Saba Beach area near the old harbour town of Singaraja. Riders mount a single-humped camel and follow a set route over black sand and tidal flats, with views of the Java Sea and the distant mountains. The activity operates daily from sunrise to late afternoon, with each ride lasting approximately 20 minutes.
What to expect
- Ride a trained dromedary camel for a 20-minute loop along Saba Beach, starting from the stable near the beachfront parking area.
- Each booking includes a safety briefing, a mounting platform assist, and a handler who walks beside the camel for the entire route.
- You will pass the mouth of the Saba River, where local fishermen launch traditional jukung boats, and may see egrets feeding in the shallows.
- The ride suits first-time riders and children aged 5 and above, with a maximum weight limit of 100 kilograms per rider.
- Photographs are taken by the staff at the turnaround point, and printed copies are available for purchase at the stable office.
