Cwpwrdd Cornel

About

On Anglesey, Cwpwrdd Cornel is a gift shop at Unit 2, Canolfan Ffowndri, 17 High St, Llangefni LL77 7LT, United Kingdom, in the island's county town. It is known for its thoughtfully chosen gifts and local goods, drawing shoppers who want something beyond the usual high-street offering.

First-time visitors can expect a compact, friendly shop where the stock changes often, so a browse rewards a slow look rather than a quick dash. The shop opens Wednesday to Friday from 10:00 to 17:00 and Saturday from 09:30 to 13:00, with Sunday to Tuesday closed. Its rating of 4.6 out of 5, drawn from 10 reviews, reflects strong satisfaction among those who have called in. Llangefni sits centrally on the island, making the shop a practical stop for anyone travelling between Holyhead and Beaumaris.

That central position means Cwpwrdd Cornel is reachable from Menai Bridge, Amlwch, Benllech, Rhosneigr and Trearddur Bay without a long detour. The shop sits among Llangefni's everyday amenities, close to the town's other businesses.

Anglesey's summer brings long daylight hours and busy ferry crossings, so visitors travelling by car ferry or passenger ferry should book ahead. Seafood landed by small boats — crab, lobster, scallops, mackerel and oysters — is central to island food, and the town's shops sit within easy reach of the coast.
