Caffè del Porto is a coffee bar on Filicudi's harbour front in the Aeolian Islands, serving espresso and granita to ferry passengers and locals. The terrace overlooks the dock where hydrofoils arrive from Milazzo and Lipari. It opens from early morning until late afternoon, with tables shaded by tamarisk trees.
What to expect
- Espresso shots pulled from a La Marzocco machine, priced at €1.20, served with a glass of water
- Granita di mandorla with fresh brioche, available until 11:00, made on the premises
- Outdoor seating for 20 people directly facing the harbour, with views of the pier and the ferry schedule board
- Takeaway paper cups for passengers boarding the 14:30 hydrofoil to Rinella
- A pastry case with cannoli and almond biscuits, restocked twice daily from a Lipari bakery
- Suitable for a 10-minute stop between ferry arrivals, or a 30-minute sit-down with a newspaper
