About this experience

Yacht Charter in Karystos is a private boat rental service based in the port of Karystos on the southern tip of Euboea, with direct access to the Aegean Sea. The charter operates from the town’s marina, where skippers and crew prepare vessels for day trips or multi-day cruises. Aegina, the Saronic Gulf island, lies roughly 30 nautical miles southwest, reachable in a 3-hour sail under moderate winds.

What to expect

Charter durations range from 4-hour half-day sails to 7-day weekly itineraries, with a licensed skipper included in the base price.
The standard yacht is a 40-foot monohull with 3 cabins, 2 heads, a galley, and a bimini top for shade on deck.
Your route passes the Kafireas Strait, where meltemi winds can reach 25 knots, and includes a lunch stop at the uninhabited islet of Petali.
On arrival in Aegina, you dock at the old harbour, 200 metres from the Temple of Aphaia, and can swim off the stern at the nearby Agia Marina beach.
The charter suits groups of 2 to 6 adults; children under 12 are allowed with life jackets provided by the crew.
Fuel, port fees, and water toys (paddleboard and snorkelling masks) are charged separately at the end of the trip, with a printed invoice.
