Surf Lessons in Sabang is a guided surf instruction programme based at the beaches of Sabang, Weh Island, Indonesia. The lessons are conducted by local certified surfers who tailor each session to the participant's skill level and the day's wave conditions. Participants learn ocean safety, paddle techniques, and wave-reading skills in the clear waters of the Andaman Sea.

What to expect

Each lesson lasts 2 hours, including 30 minutes of dry-land technique training and 90 minutes in the water.
A soft-top surfboard, leash, and reef-safe wetsuit are provided for every participant.
Instructors use a radio earpiece for real-time coaching while you paddle and catch waves.
